In 1996, Yiling Cheng realized her long-held dream of founding her company named Garden Girl, a small select store carrying Amarican style brands like Paul Frank, X-girl, Lush, Emily…brands for all fashionable girls.

In 1998, In order to update clients on the latest fashions, Garden Girl became Garden Girl Enterprises.
Additionally, because we developed a close relationship with X-girl, we became the distributor of the parent company X-LARGE MANUFACTURING L.L.C. in Taiwan.
First established in Tainan on Guohua Street, the store also sold Paul Frank merchandise, which grew in popularity, as well as other American brands.

In 2003, we set up the X-LARGE Taiwan website and online store.

In 2006, the first Paul Frank store was opened in the Taipei SOGO BR4 department store.

In 2008, after distributing X-Large and Paul Frank for more than 10 years, Yiling Cheng decided to open a select shop again, geared towards young and trendy customers. In February, she opened NEU! in Taipei's East District, importing the latest brands from fashion from LA, like JOYRICH and others.

IN 2011, she separated with her long-time partner, and focused on NEU!. She began discussions of a partnership with the owner of JOYRICH Inc., Tom Hirota, in hopes of opening a JOYRICH brand shop in Taipei.
